Pacific Fresh Food Market is currently hiring a Senior Advertising Designer for its Pickering location.

One of the premier Chinese supermarket in the Pickering area, Pacific Fresh Food Market offers customers over 10,000 different food and grocery items to choose from, all available in a bright, clean, and well-organized space. Always fresh-in-stock items include fresh fruit and produce, meats, and seafoods. We also offer frozen and packaged foods, snacks, and drinks, while bakery goods and ready-to-eat foods are always prepared fresh daily.

We’re currently looking for a full-time Senior Advertising Designer to join our growing team.

Store location: 1300 Kingston Rd, Pickering, ON L1V 3M9

Offered salary: $45,500/year for 35 hours/week

Job duties:

· Design weekly flyers, print ads, and in-store signage and displays;

· Design digital/social media promotions, including flyers, coupons, packaging, newsletters;

· Work in collaboration with marketing and sales departments;

· Supervise photographers and establish the working standards for in-store or products photos;

· Propose, establish and implement standards and timeline for graphic design;

Job requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree or diploma in design or equivalent experience;

· At least 10 years of experience in graphic design, including text editing, layout design;

· Fluency in Mandarin is a requirement as this position requires candidate to text, edit, design Chinese characters;

· Functional experience and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Microsoft Office.
